The band covers his whole career from his
"Teddy Boy" roots and 1950's Rock and Roll influences, to his
signature Beatles era, all the way up through his solo career...from The
Plastic Ono Band to his Double Fantasy/Milk and Honey Albums.
At an Instant Karma show you will hear
songs like "Starting Over", "Imagine", "Mind
Games", "#9 Dream", "Jealous Guy". You
will hear the John Lennon hits and the obscure songs such as
"Isolation", "God", "Mother" and "Out
of the Blue", to name a few. Of course, at an Instant
Karma show you are guaranteed to hear the John Lennon/Beatles hits like
"In My Life", Strawberry Fields Forever", "Lucy In
The Sky With Diamonds", "Help", "I Am The
Walrus", "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", and many

INSTANT KARMA is led by Jay Goeppner,
who has been singing as John Lennon for over 25 years. He is an
energetic, award-winning sound-alike who has a passion for the music of
John Lennon that shines through in every performance. When you hear him
sing, you get a sense that John Lennon is in the room with you. This is
a reflection of the love and passion he has for John and his music.
You may have heard him on the Jonathan Brandmeier Radio
Show, the Steve Dahl and Garry Meier show, Kevin Matthews and Breakfast
With The Beatles. Or you may have seen him on television programs
such as the WGN News, FOX Television News, NBC Channel 5 News, The
Norman Mark Show on NBC and several cable shows.
As a solo entertainer and, for 15 years, as
"The Beatle Brothers", Jay also has performed far and wide...at the
opening ceremonies at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio
in 1995 and 1997, and has sung in such places as Rome, Africa and
Munich, Germany. Last year, Jay traveled to Liverpool, England to
perform at The International Beatle Week Festival, and from the first
time he stepped up to the microphone at The Cavern to sing "Jealous
Guy" with Hal Bruce, he became one of the festival's favorite
singers...capturing the spirit and power of John Lennon!
The Instant Karma band is composed of six hard
working and talented musicians who share Jay's passion and love for John
Lennon and his music.
